I put my car in this repair shop recently to replace the fuel pump and filter. My car is 2002 Lincoln Town Car (20 years old car). I asked the owner, Bobby Talebi to use chpeast parts because my car is 20 years old. The fuel pump and filter set price is about $80, but he charged $409.09 for the fuel pump and filter. He insisted that he only use an original part (But the original part costs only $285.99. But Bobby Talebi said the vendor that he trades charged $409.09 for that part.) And I know usually this kinds of job takes 2~3 hours and regular labor chare is about $80 per hour, but Bobby Talebi charged $513 (He said it took about 4 hours and their labor rate is $135 per hours). So Bobby Talebi charged total $1,001.53 for fuel pump and filter change job for 20 year old car. What a riff off!!! He did not even ask options:Original Parts or After Markets Parts. He kept insisting that there is no option, but the original. He was very rude and threatened me if I don't pay, I cannot take my car. I needed my car for my urgent work on that day, it was so unfair, but I had no choice but to cry and pay for it. But it was extremely unhappy and terrible feeling and it was a highway robbery. I will claim him to a small court soon. Stay away from this terrible and wicked place!!! Bobby Talebi is a terrible man.
Brian I am sorry to see you leave us this review but I like to give our readers the same explanation I gave you. You dropped off your vehicle that wouldn't start. I called you with a diagnostic results and price. You agreed on the price and so I had my technicians performed the job. Next day when you came to pick up your vehicle "after it was done" you showed my some eBay prices asking me to match it. This wasn't possible since the job had already been done. Had you requested something cheaper prior to work begun I would have talked to you about it & given you more options. We NEVER put money a head of our customers. Our goal is to always perform the best quality job not the cheapest job. Please picture this; Imagine if we did cheap work, had a cheap fuel pump installed and it failed soon. You would have been disappointed at poor quality work, or what if the cheap fuel pump failed in the middle of freeway and caused an accident. You would have held me accountable. There is a difference between cheap and inexpensive. This is not for the sake of making money but for the sake of our customer's safety and quality of parts. YOU CANNOT PUT A PRICE ON SAFETY AND RELIABILITY. Bobby
