Now that we are starting to see California loosen up COVID restrictions, we see more public events and car shows pop up! Cruising has been a safe social-distancing activity in recent months, but the opportunity to attend car shows again is dreamy. Here is a list of the best car shows we hope to participate in 2021, assuming everything goes well.
Good Vibrations March Meet -- May 27 - 30, 2021
If you love drag racing, you’ll enjoy this car show at the Famoso Dragstrip in Bakersfield. Race fans need to act quickly and reserve tickets because this event will sell out fast.
Monterey Car Week -- August 6 - 15, 2021
If you love driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, heading North to Big Sur and Monterey County, you’ll be delighted to know that Monterey Car Week will take place this August. Monterey Car Week is a week-long series of car shows that feature small cars, exotic cars, classic cars, Porsches, Ferraris, alternative-fuel vehicles, and even a fun-filled parade of LeMons junkers. Multiple car auctions occur throughout the week, but the cherry on top of the sundae is the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach. If you decide to go, you’d better book your hotel reservation now because this is a top-rated event.
The 34th Annual West Coast Nationals -- August 27 - 29, 2021
If you are itching to drive to Pleasanton in Alameda County, you can go to this event put on by the GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association. Held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, this car show is known for bringing together hot rodders of all kinds, vintage auto enthusiasts, and families.

Of course, there are plenty of local car shows going on near Burbank year-round, and you can find them in this California Car Show calendar.
